Happy Flu Season

Hola friends,

I thought I'd post since I've had some down time being sicker than a dog! I swear, I just got done telling someone that I rarely get sick, and never get the flu. ARG ARG ARG!

I had a very interesting experience yesterday, the nasal swab flu test thingy. WHOAAAAA! Whoever invented that needs to be spanked! That totally sucked, and I had to do two of them. I ended up just laughing hysterically, I'm sure the nurse thought I was nuts. I guess there's a bunch of bugs going around so, lucky me! Everyone has been taking good care of me though :) Lots of movies, snuggles, and Nyquil.

I have to elaborate on the Korn-Rob Zombie show. Because it was one of the best concerts I've been to. Ty gave me my birthday present early and got us tickets :) Now I'm no "hard core" rocker or anything, but I really love Korn and I've always wanted to see them play live. They were amazing! I was so impressed. Plus the lead singer just whipped out a set of bagpipes and went to town, that was freakin' cool. They played every song I wanted them to play, ah it was great. Here's a few pics I got on my phone.

Rob Zombie, also extremely entertaining. Apparently the night before he played in Vegas and his voice was shot. But he said that he would never cancel a show, so he played anyway. I find him to be an extremely fascinating human, and some of his music is good too :) He was really interactive with the audience, a lot more than the last time I saw him play. He came out and hung around with the crowd quite a bit. Played some White Zombie, Metallica, etc....it was a blast. Again, some crappy phone pics.

We had fun. There's no one I would've rather been there with to sing my butt off, and there's probably no one else that would've let me convince them to dress up like crazy people :) It was so nice for us to get out on a date and have a crazy good time together. I love that we can still have fun together and just act like kids. Such a cool birthday gift, thanks baby!

Not a whole lot of other newsy stories going on really. Except the holidays are coming too fast! I swear one day it was this:

AH! Not ready yet! Still need to take down Halloween stuff! Oh yeah, and get a new car for the winter :) 

It's crazy that Thanksgiving is in less than 2 weeks, I've already picked up my ticket for Sub-for-Santa, and we are planning Christmas parties! INSANE. I do love Christmas though and I'm getting super excited for all that the season brings. Get the cinnamon pine cones out!

So, because it's my blog, I'm bored, and you're reading....Here's my lame "10 things you didn't know" about me.

1. I am utterly disgusted by nail biting, and it gives me the chills to think of or see anyone doing it.

2. I am an extremely slow driver...I just don't see the point in rushing somewhere in a car.

3. I do not fully understand "selfies"...especially in bathrooms...

4. I love love love peanut butter, and try to it eat with everything, it can get gross.

5. I will not shop at Wal-Mart (Unless it's some sort of emergency. ?) Such a frustrating place to shop.

6. I am a very good writer, and still edit essays for some of my former classmates.

7. I am terrified of the dentist, and have not been for years. I'm ashamed at how long I've been avoiding it.

8. I have five tattoos, but if you met me at work you would never know.

9. I have bad road/driving dyslexia...I am horrible at finding new places and have a bad sense of direction.

10. I am fascinated and just as equally confused with human behavior, and would love to study it someday.

Ok, well now that I just wasted an hour or so, everyone have a great weekend! 

And pray for lots of *snow*  :-)
