Run Forest, run!

We did it! Me and 12 of my buddies trained for, and conquered the Big Cottonwood Half Marathon! I would consider myself a decent runner...doing track in high school, running regularly, and I trained hard...and this was the HARDEST thing I have ever done. Today I'm still sore and walking like a penguin. I am so proud of my team, and I'm so happy that they did this with me! When I registered in February, I thought I would be running this alone...but no...I have the coolest friends/sister/stepmom ever and they took on the challenge with me. I really love all my family that came to cheer us on...it meant so much to see their smiling faces at the finish line. We had fun, and we survived! ...On to the next, maybe??

Getting our bibs the night before race day...this made me nervous. It made it seem so real!

Part of the group at the finish line!

Me, Jo, and Kenz... so happy to accomplish this! And, it was Jo's birthday!! :)

Funny shot of me and Ali at the mouth of the canyon. I tried to keep up with that girl, but man she is fast!

Annnnnnnnnnd more garden goodness! I am so excited to see some mini pumkins, squash, and CANTALOUPE in this huge, overgrown mess! I'm not sure if the melons will make it, but I'm going to try my hardest. They are hanging and getting heavy, so I tied them up with some panty hose. Hopefully that helps? Ty cooked up some of our squash last night, YUM YUM YUM. I think I'm liking this whole garden thing...it makes me happy :)

OUT OF CONTROL, ha ha ha

My little cantaloupe friends! Had to do some research on this... I don't want them to break off

Punkins are almost ready!

I am in love with my sunflowers :)

The way too big squash we cooked, had to experiment a little bit

Ty is a master chef, and it tasted sooooo delicious!
