Wow. I don't even know how to start! This past week was one of the best. I am so thankful and happy, and seriously, I am one lucky girl. I must have put something good out into the world, because a whole lot of happy stuff happened last week! Here's my very longgggg overview :)
1 - We started off by going to Lake Powell with the Naegle-in-laws, and fam. This was our Christmas present, so we'd been waiting since DECEMBER! We were all so excited to spend time together on a houseboat in a beautiful place. Definitely one of the best trips! Here's a couple pics from our trip:
2 - SPEEDING home from Powell ;) I was pretty sure I was going to miss one of my absolute favorite bands that happened to be playing that night downtown. Just my luck...the night we come home. :( But, it ended up all working out. A friend had waited for me and we got down there just in time to see MGMT play! I was happy :) Except my phone camera hated me that night, I wasn't able to get any reall good pics :(
3 - A whole new experience....SLC Comic-Con! I was pretty curious about going, seeing as I have been pretty sheltered from all the nerdy shows, comics, and video games. But, it was a blast! I loved seeing all the costumes and oldschool movie stuff. Lots of zombies, lots of batman... We got to get some fun pics. Thank you to my dad-in-law Dan for taking us!
Ghostbusters!
Killer Clowns from Outer Space!
4 - In the middle of all the nerdy chaos of comic-con, I got a phone call from Intermountain offering me a promotion! Something I have been working towards for a couple years now. I will be working at LDS Hospital as a supervisor in the "Materials" department. So basically it's what I've been doing, I'm just a boss-lady now! I am so excited and terrified all at once. :) :)
5 - Ovarian Cancer Walk. This year the theme was "flowers", which of course I was thrilled about! I really love doing this walk with the Craners. And though I have not lost any of my close loved ones...I love that I can go and support those I love, for those who they have lost. I am so happy I can be a part of this cause. We do this walk for Ty's aunt Kathi, who I didn't get to meet. However, if she was part of Ty's family I'm sure she was amazing, and she loved flowers, so I love her even more :)

It has been a really great summer, and year actually. Again, I feel so lucky for what I have, and all the people in my life. Now if the temperature could drop and the leaves could all be orange...PLEASE! I need to start smelling-up my house with pumpkin spice :)
